Therapeutic Techniques:

Narrative, Attachment Theory, CBT and Solution-Focused

Since 2009, I have worked with individuals, parents and families dealing with conflict, attachment issues, impacts from childhood trauma and self-worth impairments. My passion is to help lead people out of hurt and toward healing, hope and restoration. My desire is to see my clients build resilience and confidence within themselves and create safe trust bonds within their close relationships.

During our time together, clients can address issues from their everyday struggles to complex trauma.  Some helpful therapy models may include narrative, attachment-based and solution-oriented therapies. Clients should be prepared for engaging their body and mind throughout the session. A treatment plan will be created and practice work assigned after each session.

I’m a wife, mother to 3 daughters, dog mom, and a Disney kid at heart. My faith in Jesus is the foundation of my life. I offer in-office therapy as well as outdoors spaces which can help clients feel more comfortable and lighter while working in therapy. Whether at the beach or public park, your session can take place in various environments that bring you joy, if you choose. Each person I work with can expect a non-judgemental experience, no matter their story.  Reach out today for a free phone consultation.

“Sarah was our family counselor for a full year during and following our adoption. Her expertise helped us all feel empowered in our new roles and relationships in our family. She helped all of us with attachment and helped us to not get caught up on bumps along the way. It’s difficult to communicate just how integral Sarah was in our family attachment, and how easily she approached and addressed sensitive issues. Sarah’s work has been an absolute gift for my family that very few could have given. I remain eternally grateful for her impact on my family. If you are looking for a counselor you can put your trust in, you have found her.”
